Some people like the 303 protectant on the top. I tried it many years ago but just didn't like it.
It's good stuff but it just wasn't for me. To each their own.

I went to autogeek.com and looked at their kits for raggtop. I am going to order this kit seems like the best value for the money.

Yep..that's the kit I get.
I end up buying twice the bottles of the protectant.
I like it well enough to use on all the trim inside the car as well as the top.
I only clean the top with the brush about 3 times a year but mine does live in a garage.

Well I like it. It doesn't leave the plastic trim too shiny or oily.
I would say try it out before you buy another bottle of it and see if you like it.

Oh and when you apply the protectant to the top, spray it on a towel first then apply. If you just spray it and get it on your windows or the paint it can be a bear to remove

Oh yeah, any type of towel will work. I wouldn't recommend a brand new terry cloth or something like that that will leave lint all over the place of course. I actually use a small sponge for stuff like that.
