Oh yeah, this one sounds like fun and is close. I'd be in. If if falls through, Aviator meetup? No... nevermind, bad idea. I wouldn't make it home then.

I haven't heard anything since the initial feelers went out. I'll shoot a message to the originator today and see what's up.

Spoke too soon...here's the latest:

For everyone attending the Wounded Warrior Cruise/Cookout at Ft. Bragg that is being arranged by the Mustangs of Burlington, we are looking forward to a great turnout. We have been in touch with the necessary individuals at Ft. Bragg and the paperwork is in the process of being approved for the date of April 18th. There is some information that will be required in advance from each person that will be attending. We need to gather a list of name and License numbers of each individual that will be attending, this includes passengers that will be attending as well. We have to give this information to the event coordinator at Ft. Bragg prior to the event. Without this information you will not be allowed on base. Also the cars that will be attending need to have the vehicle registration and proof of insurance on hand and be ready to have the car searched, which means no weapons or other prohibited items on base. We will be entering the base at Randolph gate only. We will probably designate a place outside of base to meet prior to the event so that we can all go in as a group to make things easier. If you have any questions please contact Shane Hughes at BCCIRISH@GMAIL.COM. You can also email the lists of attendees for each club to this address as well. If you have not designated an item to bring for the cookout please let me know what you plan to bring so that we can make sure we have everything needed to feed the soldiers.

I can be the point of contact for this, if everyone wants to PM the requested info I'll send it along.

Don't forget your credit card and social security numbers when you PM Larry.

That's the same date as the Horsepower for Hospice at Pro Dyno.

Wasn't it a different date originally? Like first weekend in April?
