I was reconsidering this trip this evening. I can always get the car dynoed at the spring Pro Dyno show. I think I would rather do this over Pro Dyno after all, especially if that makes any difference whether the trip can be salvaged.

Dang!!! I was looking forward to this. It fell on a weekend I don't have the kids, which is rare, so it would have worked out well for me.

Will the roads be driveable in January?!

If I can make a mountain run you can count on me. I have not figured out how to slow down since I retired.

Just got back yesterday from a 5 day trip to Myrtle Beach, had perfect weather and very few people compared to summer visitors.

Daniela and I are actually heading there in the next hour or so. Just to get away for the weekend.

I drove the planned route Saturday with a friend from Canada. Found a nice picnic area on Watauga lake, could be a fun day in the spring.
