Default Mach 1 vs 99-01 Cobra

This is a mostly a public opinion type of post, I am thinking of getting either a Mach 1 or a 99-01 cobra, and I pretty much know most of the info of what is different between the two, so my question is, which one would you rather have?

The Cobra may ride better with the IRS instead of the solid axle on the Mach. I would have to drive both honestly before saying which.

Mach 1's only come in an auto 4 speed and 5 speed manual, the cobras come with a 6 speed standard and they also include an IRS so depending on what kind of driving you like to do i recommend an irs for a daily plus polished up cobra tail pipes.look sexy.

Mach 1's are supposed to be a half second faster off the line becuase of better heads and and stock gears and slighty lighter than the cobra but the cams are weaker than the cobras but the main and probably biggest difference is rhe block. The mach's have WAP (aluminum blocks). Good for 600+ rwhp
The teksid blocks are good for 1000+rwhp. So really its whatever your goals are, but just know both have weak pistons or whatever stock crap they have so dont expect over 400 without it possibly breaking.

Newer model car is usually better. I'd go with Mach 1.

Like stated above depends on what your goal is. I like the Mach 1's personally. Especially since you can get in Azure blue and Comp orange.

Only the Terminator Cobra's had the 6 speed. The older ones had the 5 speed.

Mach 1 with the cobra goodies installed.

Probably gonna get bashed for this but has anyone seen a mt-82 swapped onto a non coyote block? Get it for fairly cheap (compared to other 6 speeds) and have better n/a ratios. Cobra irs swap could be done for under 2k.
