Had quite a few friends lined up to go and they all ended up having something going on this weekend so as of now I'm not sure I'm going...I was really looking forward to it too, but I am not up for making the trip alone this year.

i went to this, even became semi-infamous. Oh well was pretty fun.

Here is a pic of my 11 getting down before I became infamous. If you were there you know what i am talking about. However, the fixes are simple and it looked worse than it was.

ahh yes... how many bandaids did they hand out, lol
there was the dragstrip boo-boo and you two that i recall.
not to worry. i was on iron mountain road this morning and some jackwad decided to pass a bicycle on a blind curve. forced me to drop a tire off the pavement and now I have a slight shake in the steering wheel. so either the rim is bent, tire is bad, or my alignment is now crap, or a combo.
I got tons of vid and pics, just not the parkinglot carnage

Actually my car faired very well considering. Nothing structural just the two air bags and the rest is cosmetic which i still find hard to believe but i found nothing wrong surprisingly.

Iron mtn road is fun but not forgiving--i have had my share of incidents there over the years. Im too old now to mess with stuff up there like i used to and just driving it during tourist season is frustrating for me i just stay away.

Are you local to the hills?

Yeah i seen you out there haha, my car had a few fuel issues. Was going around the auto-cross and my 5gal. meth tank slid over and knocked the fuel pump connection lose. so i didn't get to finish with a decent time..

Car has been acting weird, runs kinda rough when it warms up. Air/fuel mix is fine on idle, but once i start driving and push in the clutch it wants to die. Will have to fix it so i can compete next year!

Plus thinking of going down to a 76mm trubo, this 82mm is a tad too big for my 281 heh.. doesn't start spooling up till about 5k

I'm in Aberdeen.
Went out all 5 days and spent part of monday running vanhocker (sp?), nemo, iron mountain, and such. Sturgis is only a little over 4.5 hrs from my doorstep straight across 212.
took second in 05-13 mini mod saturday and burned the hell out of my legs...lol
I'm still sorting through pics and vid.
Here's one from sunday before the banquet
