Talking finally wanting a sig

I have been on this site for a while now and haven't asked for a sig. I have photoshop but just cant figure out how to remove just the car without the extra crap in the pic. If someone could school me on how to do that it would be nice. If not could ya make me a sig out of any of my pics on profile to make me a sig. And if you can save it, I will have some new pics of the stang(it is getting painted Grabber Blue and Saleen body kit. Thanks. (i really like the "My new rims and headlights" pic #5 in my proflie)

Do some Google searches on Photoshop masking.

this is how i usually do it...

I usually try and zoom in on the picture so i can see the edges better and get a clean cut which makes it so you dont have to go back and use the eraser.

if you are uploading the sig to the forums directly, you might not have permissions set to do that; go to your 'user cp', then 'edit signature', and at the bottom of that group, there should be a 'signature permissions' list. check to see if 'Can Upload Images for Signature' says 'yes'.

if it doesn't, check to see if the permission 'Allow Image BB Code' says yes. if it does, then you can use a photo hosting account (like photobucket or imageshack) to hotlink your sig using the [img] [/img] code. if that permission is set to 'no', let me know and i'll try to get it changed for ya.
