oh man, I flat out love the look with it out.. but then again, I've always loved the pony just not the corral... (see below)
as far as safe? I assume you mean if something hits you or you hit something going up in there and damaging your radiator? I don't think that emblem was gonna stop much anyway.. I mean theres still alot of open space around the emblem for like say a bird to make it through, anything bigger than that you go more problems besides the rad.. lol
Me personally, I wouldn't hesitate doing either one of these..

Awesome, thanks for the input. I put another post asking about it for some more feedback. I loved it without it too. But I'm kind of liking it without the corral, hehe. Just not sure how to take the corral off. Thanks again.

no problem. Sorry to give you a decision to make..
so the pony and the corral aren't seperate?
As far as taking the corral off, I'd assume you can take the whole thing out, then get a reciprocating saw (sawzall) or jigsaw or pnuematic cutting wheel and cut it off, file down any edges, sand with a fine sandpaper and it would be at the back of the emblem and dark back in the grille.. so you'd never see where you cut it unless you got up in there and looked?
I did a quick google search and found a couple of guys with write-ups and pics that did this..
good luck, can't wait to see what you decide!
