Gimp works awesome!
For a free download Gimp is a very cool program. I've always had a slight interest in graphic design and decided to check it out to see what I can do about a "concept" picture of what I'd like my '71 project to eventually be.
So here it is...after about 10 hrs worth of staring at the screen trying out different features. It started out red with stock wheels and no glass or side mirror. I shaved the door handles, corner lights, added the black bullitt wheels, put in the brake rotors, and added the glass and mirror.
I know it's not a "professional" job and I realize some areas are a bit blurry, but I was happy with it having never really done this before.
What do ya think???

Thanks man!
That goes a long way coming from someone with your skills!
Graphic design is always something I've wanted to get into, but never persued. I'm a decent artist with other mediums and just never had any decent software to play on the computer. I have an A.S. in General studies and have been tossing around the possibilty of going for a B.A. in graphic design. Any suggestions from you pro chop shop guys would be great! I figure at 33 it's time to fiure out what I'd like to be when I grow up...the body shop scene is taking it's toll on my body and I'd like to get out of it other than my own stuff and some side work.
