69 Convertible
Have a 69 convertible that I am trying to value. Any honest help would be appreciated. I have had a few lowball offers locally. My dad purchased this car in about 1973 and it had 69k miles on it then. The rumor at the time was that he won it in a golf bet from a car dealer friend he played with. A couple of years later I got my license and I drove this car a lot for about 4 or 5 years before I parked it in about 1980 or so. It was driven by my family and me, but the miles I drove were very hard miles. When I parked the car it was mechanically pretty much worn out. The motor burned some oil. The transmission and rear end whined like crazy. The suspension springs bottomed out over the smallest bump. The upholstery has some tears. Needs a new top. This is a plain mustang convertible. 302 2 barrel, three speed on the floor, power steering, manual top, 159k miles. The good thing about this car is it is pretty much rust free. There is one small rust spot in the floor pan and another spot that is visible in the trunk. There is no rust on the outside, no body damage, some surface rust is visible underneath and in the trunk, but basically the body and frame are solid as a rock. It has been garage kept since I parked it. I have removed the grille, front bumper, front skirt, left front fender, radiator, carburetor, right side door, in a feeble attempt at restoration 20+ years ago. Still have all the parts. Thanks for any help you can throw my way! I am located in western Virginia. I will try to post photo soon.

RE: Here are some pics
It's hard to put a value on a car with only a couple pictures. I have seen these cars sale from $500.00 to $30,000.00. The question is what do you think it is worth. If you want to see the most you can get put it one Ebay at No Reserve. When I list on Ebay I always list at No Reserve and have not been disappointed yet. If you want to sale PM me a price.

RE: 69 Convertible
OK, I just re-read the classified rules and it looks like I am breaking most of them. I really was just looking for information and put this post in the wrong place. My apologies, the car is not for sale here, but for your enjoyment here is a link to a bunch of photos of the car.
