Default 1966 289 coupe in Arkansas

FOR SALE: 1966 Mustang Coupe
ENGINE: 289 V8, less than 3000 miles since engine overhaul; new 4 barrel Holley carberator
TRANSMISION: Automatic
COLOR: Black interior; black exterior
OTHER: New dual exhaust recently (running off of headers)
ASKING PRICE: $7500 OBO/trade for NICE SVO Mustang or late model Mustang
LOCATION: Cabot, Arkansas (Near Little Rock)
The car is in good condition. The car runs very good and evreything is in good mechanical working condition.

NEGATIVES: This is a 40+ year old car, so don't expect it to be like a brand new car. The paint is chipping in a few areas (one area around the back glass, one around the trunk). Needs new door panels (cost $49.95 in most Mustang catalogs); needs new window crank on passenger side door (window is stuck, but it is rolled up); needs drivers side vertical molding trim(for the windshield).

I bought the car from a man last year who had did the restoration. He had put new brakes on the car, overhauled the engine, and fixed the floor pans. The car has little to no rust! I have noticed that he may have put a tiny bit of bondo on the lower portion of one of the back quarter panels. The paint job was done by Maaco (I DID NOT TAKE IT THERE...WAS ALREADY PAINTED WHEN I BOUGHT IT) less than 3 years ago. It looks good, but it was done by Maaco (bleh).

I have some new pictures that will be up soon. I can also email you pictures if you prefer that. The following pics were taken before the bumpers, dual exhaust, and a few other things were done. Post if you have interest in buying.

Sorry I haven't had time to upload the interior pics :-(

It seems to be a lack of interest, I guess I have not been motivated enough to go snap some shots.

They will be up soon though. Hopefully by Friday!
