That is a beautiful car coolhand, I agree with Waffles those wheels look great and I love the color.

photogzick - I love your mustang as well. Those have always been one of my favorite classic bodystyles. Reminds me of my father's fastback growing up.

I need to get some pics of my car posted and spend some time looking at the other rides posted on this thread.

I hate hearing about Father-Son projects because it just reminds me of what a douchebag my father is

gbryning, our 66 used to look like that. Lots of elbow grease. Oh, by the way Waffles, he's 11yrs old and it's hard to cmpete with Guitar Hero right now! Ha!

Default 66 Convertible survivor

Here is my 1966 convertible. It was the car I bought back in high school in 1972. It is a survivor car, no restores, other than carpet and top. I did have the engine rebuilt last summer but to stock specs. Autolite 4100 Carb was rebuilt by Pony Carbs. It has a 289 4V with 4 spd Borg-Warner T-10 tranny. Color is Signalflare Red with Pony parchment interior with aqua carpet/dash. It has some minor door dings but not bad for a 42 year old car.
