the start of mock up. cylinder heads (raised ports), headers, intake manifold, bellhousing and transmission were all problems.







my crew willing to lose an arm during install. it seems like it took about 30 minutes to install.









some massaging to the oil pan...



a radiator overflow (to meet NHRA spec only...)

Other than the headers and a mild cam, it's still mostly stock powered.

Here's a more recent picture of my 302. Its now a roller motor with comp cam, trick flow twisted wedge heads, air gap intake, and holley 670.

Big thanks to all the forum members that helped me choose parts during my little top end makeover adventure.

im making 291 hp and 300 ftlbs
