I met my wife on myspace about 1.5 years ago, Our 1st date wasnt supposed to happen. She was done dealing with guys.
I talked her into letting me help her fix mustang lol.
Then that led to a margarita after that.
We talked and saw each other every day after have been together every since.

This is exactly why my 15 year old and I are building him a pickup truck and not a mustang......
All the more reason why you are an idiot when it comes to representing the classic mustang. You don't have a classic....you have a bastard. Ever heard that before?

Haha, ya her parents did know... she was going out with the guy next to her... The tires were rubbing like mad. I already have a crappy shock that would rub occasionally, and it was almost rubbing the whole time there... oh well, it was fun.
Haha
"Son why are the back tires so bald?"
"I have no idea dad..."

Good thread so far. My turn to add, I suppose...

I'm in my early thirties and I do a lot of little things... Mostly, I write romance novels, but I also do specialty costuming, test driving, web analytics and various roles within a design and marketing context. Once upon a time, I was a stagehand and Master Electrician. I helped rewire a theater and about half the lights in it, too!

I've had my '68 fastback since 1993 and during that time, she's only left me stranded twice. I took 4 years of autoshop in college and would much rather figure out how to fix the car than take it to a mechanic who's most likely going to take advantage of a little girl like me. I collect old car magazines from the 60s which also make for great reference material because they explain how the ignition system works, not just what wires go where. I'm the chief mechanic in my household and there's always plenty to be done.

Yes, I have a lot of cars. NO, I'm not rich. I'm basically a junkie!

This is me, got my **** helmet on too. I always liked Mustangs since I was 8,when Itook my first ride in one, a 428 Mach One of my uncle's. Something about that sound that I still remember today. I grew up in the coal fields and my first job was underground as an repairman/electrician. After about 5 years of dodgingroof fallsand gas explosions, I had a chance to get out and took it. I then became a Paramedic, and workedas a road Medic for about 20 years. I since haveretired and now operate a Nursery and grow about 500,000 plants a year. In the off season, Ibuild or fliphouses. In my spare time, I build or restore Mustangs. So far, I'vehad two cars featured in national magazines. One in 6 and the other in 2.Also two of themmay befeatured on a couple of wellknownTV shows that should air this summer.I enjoy helping others that are new, and are starting into this hobby, so let the fun begin.

Yep, I have 10 in the barn now. 9 Classics and one Fox body that I just bought for my son, if he straightens up. TheTerlingua clone (in the photo)has been in 6 different magazines such as Mustang Times, Mustang and Fords, Southern Rodder,Ford Builder and a couple more, often a private entity will shoot the car, and it will be published insister magazines (thats why you sometimes see the same car in different magazines). The E has been in MustangLife and was shot for another Mustang magazine and should come out any time. Also it was used by Pennzoil for one of their displays. I'm not sure I can give a "heads up" on TV showsuntill they are scheguled later on this year. Its all in the fun of it.
