Its not that bad in there, just grow some thicker skin and don't take anything too seriously.

Big OT Survival Tip: do not mention in there if you still have your V Card, it has not ended well for some.

I don't like the OT people. I like the classic section and chop shop people. I can trust this section and chop shop section.

I have petitioned the admins to consider adding a general topic subforum. The discussion tho would have to be classic mustang "related". Total OT would be moved to OT.

Classic OT would not be redudndant, IMO. There is clearly two cultures at this site defined by the year 1984 classic and modern era Mustangs. There is already very little cross traffic as far as posters go, and I imagine the reader (lurker) traffic is relatively similar.

I'll bet a significant number of users at Classic agree with the above posters and would really appreciate an OT sub forum. There would probably be the same % of cross traffic between the 2 OT forums since these two groups (groups defined as most regular posters) already like staying within their respective groups. It would define the rest of the Classic forum more tech specific, as well.

I'm just a newbieish poster here, and the above is JMO, of course.

Edit: Thanks for trying to get that forum, James.

OTards post some funny schit. You just have to separate the wheat from the chaff. A well placed " tits or GTFO" makes me laugh every time. It's called Irreverence.

I don't mean offense here, and don't take this personally, but this forum, particularly the classics section is an absolute yawn as far as needing modding. I say that with personal experience modding an mmorpg game forum, specifically the off topic forum, the FAQs and bugs/troubleshooting forums for the actual game- I was the tech support staff, the general community discussion forum, along with 3 or 4 different server specific forums. Those forums have 120000+ members, most of them early teens. I have to say, the flame wars and porn and bots and ways to cheat in the game that went on daily make this place look like a cemetery, and to top it off, the chinese company that ran the game and the forum had one admin for the forum who only checked in every few days to ban people.

Like I said, I don't mean any offense, I'm just saying it isn't all that bad here
