Who cares? He ain't selling an autobody service, he's telling us about cars that are going to be destroyed permanently if no one buys them, cars that most of us care about
I was thinking the exact same thing as I went through the pics. I would love to walk through this place. I definitely saw some of my dream cars rusting away though . Im sure if someone wanted to, they could turn this into a museum type place. Also, I'm sure if enough people became aware of what was here he could sell a lot of it.
This is not a ad, I have nothing to do with the owner. I am just a customer who bought a few cars from him, and was sick to my stomach to see all these cars dragged in the woods to die. So I want back and got pictures, and am sharing them with you to see this before all the cars are crushed and sent to china. I was told there is 200,000+ cars there, They ARE NOT all visible in the aerial map. That picture is in the Summer so the cars are covered by trees in the picture. Many of the trees are pine, this was intentional. Because it makes it harder for the state to see his mess.
In response to someones post, this place is well over 70 acres. Its approx 200 acres of cars. I also found out he has another yard within a few miles from this one, with more cars dragged in the woods to die.
We had similar situation here a few years ago when a old guy was forced to clean up an illegal salvage/junk yard. Hundreds of cars. Because the yard was illegal it also was illegal for him sell anything. They had to be crushed. It took years to get them all out.
While these cars may not be salvagable certainly a lot of little parts are. Look at the OEM tail lights, back up and turn signal lamp lenses, etc.
