actually I seen a lot worse, something .2x better BUT for 15,000 dollars, I think I know why I am around crack heads listing there mustangs because some Japanese drug cartel's boat sunk on the shore of socal, on the boat was cocaine, LSD and heroine.

When there's blood on the streets....
And yeah, I did know the collectible Chevy's are great investment cars, but still, triple digits beyond the 100 grand mark for me is hard to get my head around on a car.

I noticed that too. I never understood the horrible phrase "When there's blood on the streets, its time to buy real estate" until lately. We've picked up quite a few nice older cars, pre-73, of various makes and models lately for hardly nothing, relatively speaking. A lot of them may never be worth a TON of money, but they sure turn heads and they turn a little bit of money on them...
And yeah, I did know the collectible Chevy's are great investment cars, but still, triple digits beyond the 100 grand mark for me is hard to get my head around on a car.

My step dad bought a 56 belair for 3800 about a month ago and drove it home.All the car needs is paint and interior a couple years ago same car would went for 8k up.A lot of people are hurting for money and selling off there toys so its a buyers market.I'm looking at a 78 corvette tomorow for 5 grand just needs some interior work.

I can't believe all these crazy prices. I was looking through the latest Mustang Monthly magazine (I subscribe) and it showed that a guy had the original 79 Pace Car mustang for sale at the 45th. I was there briefly but did not see this car.
The crazy thing is the article showed he had it for sale and was asking $6,300. That sounded like a great deal to me for what it was in the history of the mustang.
