Yep.

Although it will stop rust when there are three or four layers of intact paint below it.

BTW, the primer and the layers of paint are previous owner issues. I added the $8 rustoleum stripes so it is more bareable to look at. It's also stored in a dry garage and not driven in the rain.

Good, I was just making sure you weren't using the oxide as your only layer of paint.
