Default Plug and play HID headlights?

Does anyone know if there is any PnP HID head lights for stangs that do not require any cutting? One of those non-sealed assemblies?

Would there be anyone that would want to buy some?

Well first off, they would be technically illegal for on road use, so you're stuck to using them off road only if you want to be legal.

That said, if you have the moden tri-bar conversion headlights that use halogen bulbs, as long as those assemblies are deep enough for an HID bulb it would be a pretty simple conversion- just install the ballasts and wire the original wiring harness into a relay for the new HIDs (they draw a lot of power on startup, without a relay you'd probably fry the stock wiring) and you'd be set.

This is probably not what you are looking for, and can perhaps be put together on your own, but these kits are all thought out and ready to roll.

Hmm...

I wasn't going to buy them. I found a guy selling them on a VW forum, without the headlight itself for $99 shipped. The connections are the same, and there is no cutting, so I was just asking a few questions.

Unless its a hella brand id not buy it there is a lot of cheap hid kits that are not really a hid they don't put out enough power to really be called a hid. With a older car you will have to cut a couple wires and use the relays.Honestly most h4 lights are brite enough good fog lights are cheaper.

I purchased the tri bar headlamps that are pretty far down and they came with a halogen bulb, they look awesome...

Not sure if this helps I don't really know if there is a difference between Halogen and HID?
