Opening a can of worms - rattle cans and paint guns
#11
There is nothing wrong with rattle can paint, I've gone through a LOT of rattle can primer and semi-flat black krylon paint for engine pieces, interior, trunk, etc. You gotta love the convenience.
Also the krylon rust tough stuff comes with a different tip that is easy to press and puts out a nice vertical fan, I loved that stuff.

Primer is porous, so water will get through it, and you'll get rust. So leaving a car in primer isn't protective against rust.

underbody, engine compartment, interior panels, etc, I have no problem with rattlecans. If you have good eyes and a steady hand, you can make rattlecan paint look just fine.
