Default BA Mustang, turbo vs NA for your six....

Have you checked this stuff out? I would much rather stay naturally aspirated. What are your thoughts? (in the long term of course, I bet this head costs a fortune).

Best NA is 211 HP
Best Turbo is 445HP

In NA I'm looking at running a 17-18 sec 1/4.

I will turbo my mustang, just depends on engine. If I could find a 250 cheap I would build it up and drop it in.

You can't find the blocks cheap. They want like over 1k for a block. I would also have hood problems, but I don't think a 3" cowl hood would look bad on my 67.

So, even with the new head, optimal carb (4v?), cam, and ported exhaust (headers, dual) -- only 211 HP?

Wow.

Oh I see, that's 211 AT the rear wheel. That makes more sense.

Yeah. I could get something like this and then mod a 250 head with a 2bbl, headers, and valve job.

Here's a ride along in the 211 hp at the wheel car. Sounds cool.

Ebay motors doesn't like "200". It says they couldn't search it...

So, 300 blocks cost that much? Is it that hard to find an old rusted out truck with one?
