Default Hi, from NJ and looking for guidance on my first car!

Hi everyone, my name is Joe and I've just got my license and car, (1973 Mach 1) and I'm looking to restore it to it's full potential. I'm going to start a thread tonight and hopefully be on my way to getting it to look new again!

Very excited for you!

As Im sure you know, these cars REALLY dont respond well to New Jersey winters (re: salt). If you can , be careful about exposing it to almost any salt.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and yeah I'm not taking it out in the snow I use the family car, because that salt is a bitch. I don't know if you can see my signature but that's a photo of mine before the car got in my hands, so now it needs a little fixing up, but it looks near new! I'm looking to restore as soon as the snow clears, and I'll take some more pictures. If anyone knows a website I can start looking at to get restoration tips/parts that be great! I'm looking for front seats, decals for the sides, and a stencil for the hood. I just bought a USA-630 radio which fits classic cars and looks classic, but has a HD and an aux cable. Also under the hood is rusty-ish and dirty, and I was wondering how people paint all those things to make it look nice! Just so you know I'm a fast learner but have no idea about this stuff, but thanks in advanced.
