This Mustang had a buy it now price of $11,000, yet sold for $12,400!

There is a real strategy for buying on ebay. If you know you want it for a price, determine that price and bid. This guy could have had a bunch of money left for improvements (and this car needed it).
Any other bidding tips?

Ooops. He could have saved some cash using the BIN option, need to pay attention. Yes, biggest thing is determining your highest bid and not deterring from that. Usually, if you lose, there will be another, sometimes better, than the first one that got away.

My family used to own a Ebay store front, so I know how to deal on Ebay well.
-Not really a bidding tip, but always check the buyers background.
-Never use any payment method that is not insured
