How would I PUT THIS IN MY 65? LOOK!

Ummm... I'm NOT TRYING TO BE LIKE Vin Diesel! I think doing something like this is cool and new, I was going to do a TCI coil over front end and update the whole entire car so its basically just a mustang shell and frame. ITS A RESTOMOD! And trying to be like the movies is a hell of a lot better than just being a sheep and doing the normal ****. You guys have a totally screwed up view. get off your high horse and realize that doing stuff like this is FUN. Isn't that why we own these cars? I don't think anyone should be offended... Furthermore, you can be angry because everyone builds better and more efficient engines than we do, but not because people are trying new stuff. I want a DD car that gets better than 20mpg and can trap at least 12sec 1/4 mile and I know that the rb26dett can get me there, while improving every aspect of my '65 stang starting with the handling and overall weight distribution, plus it will be a one of car if I have the twin turbo rb26dett in there.
Thanks for your contributions, I asked for opinions. I do not think this is going to happen, so those of you really upset by my actions need not cry.

I was not "bad mouthing" your idea. I like the cars (skylines) I like the engine (twin turbos with a 5 speed AWD). I just made a comment it was a movie idea (and Vin Diesel was not driving it).
I did not say do not do it. If you had mentioned that you wanted a DD with better than 20 mpg and wanting to do something different then by all means do it.
You did ask for opinions and not how can I make this work.
I think with the coilovers and the lighter engine it would balance the car better and make it handle pretty good. I'm not sure if you are thinking of making your mustang a AWD or not.
More power to you with your project. It will be unique regardless just b/c it's yours and you will do different things than stock with a restomod.
If you look on here there are people putting mod motors in older classics, a V6 Turbo (SVO) engine in a classic.
People on here will be more than happy to give advice and their knowledge on how to do things, but don't ask for opinions and then get upset b/c people don't agree with your ideas.
Sorry not ranting just letting you know life is that way people don't agree with new and different ideas, especially when you ask their opinion.

Yeah, its cool. I did ask b/c I've always been in the Audi/Nissan scene and have had this stang as a project car for a while, and I really have no idea what people are going to say to me after I build it. Thanks for all your input guys. I think I'm prob just gonna drop a v8 in anyway- You just cant beat that V8 rumble and thats what a 65 is all about.

Go ask someone in Japan if they think it would be cool to put a 5.0 in a Skyline, or a 5.0 in an Alfa Romeo on an Italian forum. You will get the same response as we just gave you.
A lot of the original guys who were into Mustangs back in the day were WWII Vets and would be damned to have a Japanese engine in their car. I would guess that is the origin of the "unrest" the idea of a Skyline engine in a Mustang began. My car belonged to my Grandfather, and he would have beat the **** out of me if I ever dropped a Nissan engine in it.

Well I did meet a guy that put a Chevy 350 in a 67 Mustang. Nothing beats the classic bodylines of these old cars and I'm not just talking about mustangs. I will say I drive a Civic for my DD for the mileage, but nothing sounds better to me than the V8's in my classic truck or my mustang.
If you do it post pics.
Again good luck with your project.

But like I said in my previous post, it's your car, if that's what YOU want then by all means give it a go. If I came across as slamming you I apologize, it was nothing more than my humble opinion. Not for me....doesn't mean that it's not for anyone!
Good luck with it, sounds like a LOT of work to do.
