Thumbs down Holley goes Bankrupt, Crane Cams Close their Doors.

Well, it looks like the economic woes have hit some of our aftermarket suppliers kind of hard. It kind of sucks, but perhaps some poor management issues are hitting home.

Might be time to throw our support behind some companies that support America like Edelbrock and Barry Grant...

Any thoughts, or am I just out of touch?

Wow, I knew about Crane, but Holley going bankrupt is a real surprise. I'll continue to support American companies, if I have to sacrifice and buy more car parts, then so be it.

its not that surprising actually, when ppl start cutting back on the spending, hobbies usually go first...i.e. holley

its not that big of a deal actually, will give them time to reorganize, pay off any debts they have, and most likely they will emerge as a stronger better company.

they will continue to operate as normal for now...so dont fret youngins...

I am proud when I see something I buy that has "Made in USA" on it. My painless stuff I've recently ordered, say "Proudly Made in USA" on the box. That is rare these days. The quality is usually top notch from american made compaines. I support them whenever I can. Sad to see some go under, but that is the normal cycle of capitalism.

Well I guess I will go ahead & buy me a 570 Avenger & help them out.

Edit - Just ordered it from Summit, so there you go Holley. Happy to help!
