Default More attention that a lamborghini!

Hi Everyone,

You know, I love my 1965 Mustang Coupe I bought a few weeks ago. But it sure seems everyone else does too! I can't go anywhere without a comment from someone. It's not a show car but it does look good with the great paint and no rust, dents, etc. Now if I only had this car when I was single!!!

Warren

Yeah, you drive a bright red 65 which looks like it did in 65 you are going to get comments. I think the originals draw more attention than the modifieds, but I may be influenced by the fact I prefer originals.
Looks nice. How is it underneath...floors, rails and such.

i prefer slightly modified older muscle cars. One thing I will never do is compliment someone running chrome 19's/20's on a muscle car. I just hate the look of it.

car looks pretty nice

Not so much... I'm 21 and I laugh at most heavily modified mustangs. MOST. I would sit and stare at an all original or numbers matching car considerably longer than a modified one, or at least one that is period correct. So don't be like everyone else and throw the old guys into one clique and young ones into a different one, just because he's older than me doesn't mean he has any amount more respect for more original than modified, and because I'm a younger guy hardly means I am interested in modded mustangs.

Don't be another face in that crowd.

you're right. bone stock classics are MUCH more interesting than a professionally done restomod with a 600 hp crate engine and a beautiful candy paint job with custom rims.

thats why so many people restore to stock these days huh? oh wait...
