Cool Good-flowing, cool air for my 302?

What are some suggestions for a good air cleaner for my 1966 Mustang?

It's almost finished, and now the little details are coming out.

I have heard great things about K&N's X-Stream air cleaners, and I like them

Anyone had any experience with these before?

I love Holley, and it looks amazing.

Words of wisdom?

Just get a K & N , it's composed of 2 parts .Excellent flow and you never have to throw it away. You can't get much better for the money.

it covers the distributor but doesnt touch it, if you need to get to the dizzy you just remove it takes 5 seconds

also that is a late model dizzy that is electronic, not a point style. so it has the cap adapter and the larger cap

I have to have that spacer on the carb cause of electric choke clearance, so this is what I have to work with. How big of an element do you think my hood would clear?

And do you think it's worth the time to design and fabricate some kind of cold air box?

P.S. Sorry about the crappy photo quality

want a cold air setup surf ebay for a 1985 5.0 air cleaner you can clean it up and make it look nice. it is a dual snorkel setup, then you can plumb hoses to the radiator support for cold air

I have one similar to that on my coupe. I have one from a 79 Granada I6. I don't see your control module though.
