ebay warning
As a few folks know, recently I won an item on ebay and like a dumb a** paid with a money order. Dude skipped and never sent the item.
I am currently tracking the f*cker down and plan to take a Vegas vacation to brake the f*cker's legs when I find him. I actually believe the guy was dumb enough to use his real phone number and have reverse searched that to get his real name / address, you would think he would be smart enough to pay cash for a pay as you go phone at Walmart.
Just spoke with the owner of the mail box place where it turns out the payment was sent and informed him he has someone running a criminal operation out of his business. Turns out suite 118 was really box number 118.....
Over lunch I was looking around on ebay and I believe this listing
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Musta...3A1|240%3A1318
is the same guy.
New user name but exact same M.O. Don't bid on these heads unless you like getting ripped off.

Huh...never mind....the latest listing in my post above disappeared.
I first reported the latest listing then sent the guy a message on ebay asking if he was trying to rip someone else off...bout 20 minutes later it was gone :-)

I am pretty sure I got his attention today.
He was selling on ebay under the name "702junkguy" but that was deactivated when I reported him. He was selling today under the name "sincityhookers"....when I spotted his latest listing under the new name I sent him a message on ebay using both his real and fake name asking him if he was ripping more people off...listing was gone inside of 20 minutes and now the latest user name is no longer active. That kept him from scamming at least another $500...that was the current bid on his latest item and it may have been bid up some more before it ended.
He has to be wondering how I know his real name and how I found his new listing under a new user name...I hope it makes the f*cker nervous as hell and I hope he is looking over his shoulder.
I just can't believe the guy would use his real phone number. The weird thing is that it seemed like a cell phone when calling him, played music while it was ringing then would go to voice mail that appeared to be generic cell phone voice mail. But when I reverse searched it the service I used said it was a land line. Probably the right guy though because the address is a residence about 8 miles from the postage place where the payment was sent.
When he called me that was the number that showed up on the caller id but that is beyond easy to "spoof"....give me 20 bucks and a web browser for about 5 minutes and I could be in Africa and make you believe I was calling you from my house.
I gave the owner of the postage place a heads up but don't know if he will care to be honest. I did mention to him though that he signed for the delivery of the payment which in a way makes him party to a crime and also mentioned this guy is currently trying to scam others on ebay.
Did I mention that I am pretty good at investigating things, LOL!

Listen to waffles , he is the master of disaster.Meanwhile , gather all the evidence and call the local police on him a.s.a.p. , also , put his name and address on every email and direct marketing list you can find, call a few escort services to his house , find a good hacker and send a couple of worms into his PC (discguised as "innocent " ebay questions) and all the other nasty stuff you can come up with (you get thee idea , but i cannot say it here) Let's stomp the bastard !

Huge loop hole in the law here where folks can get away with basically theft and they really need to change things. I can promise it wouldn't take more than a couple of well publicized convictions and a lot of these a-holes would stop really fast.
