I have been watching this car.

I'm not really sure what the price should be, but this car is absolutely perfect.

I have seen more pics, inside is just as nice as the outside.

Any thoughts?

Get VIN number to be 100% sure it is a Mach1. Seems like a decent price, under NADA low retail value.

On the upside, it's supposedly a 4V 351C Mach I car, which makes it valuable, in theory. On the downside, I have no idea of the true condition of the car from the crappy photos. All you know is that he hacked in digital gauges (which I don't really like).

If you can get a lot more detailed photos, including detailed shots of the underbody and paint, as well as VIN and warranty plate info, we would have more to go on.

it's only worth that if the VIN is a true mach 1, and the 4V version will bring a little bit more than the 2V. But as starfury said we have no idea of the true condition of the car, if everything checks out (floor pans, frame, shock towers, cowl, trunk, etc.) and the work isn't crappy then it can be a nice deal. Try to get "in progress" pictures so you have more of an idea of what went on with the car, if it was just bondo'd up and repainted then 24k is not worth the headaches you'll have later.

this would be a pretty big purchase so be sure it is as described, try to get as many pictures as possible (and high quality ones at that)

But still, even if real Mach, the value just took a dive.


I'm not a big fan of shaved door handles because that means you have a door full of BONDO for one, and it's not practical. Especially with a dead battery lol.

That car is the exact reason I bought a sportsroof and NOT a mach. Because I wanted to make the car I wanted without hurting the value. This guy's custom build is only hurting his chances of selling the car.

It has the Mach1 dash, but is missing the Mach1 stripes, Mach1 flat black hood paint, Mach1 steering wheel, gauges, and Mach1 wheels. Like said above, I would have a Marti report run before making an offer, if you are concerned about authenticity.

On a different note, why would you make a Boss Clone out of a real Mach1???
