Default My new wheels finally installed

After several weeks of waiting for my spacers, I was able to install the new rubber. Not without a hitch though. I have to replace the rear studs with 3". Then I had to cut them down to 2 3/4". I used locktite and an impact to put the front 1" spacers on. Just a note for those guys thinking about frame rail connectors, when I jacked the front corners, the rear lifted as well. My baby is stiff! My front end was low before I installed these new wheels and tires. I hope it settles down so I don't have to cut the coil again. I can't wait to take her out after the new 4-link and frame rails. Here are some pics of the new wheels and tires. The set on the rear is the exact same set I'm having problems getting from that guy in Kalifornia. Scott H is helping me out and I really appreciate it. Thanks Scott!!

I have to say that I really like those wheels, I don't know that you could have picked better wheels for your car..

Thanks Jim. I was on the edge regarding what wheels to buy and I chose those at the last minute. I am very pleased with my decision.

There is no tubbing. A 295 fits in the 67-68 wheel well just right. You just have to figure out the right basckspace.

James, the white stuff is what is keeping me from enjoying my car

The four link is a Heidts. It was relatively easy to install. I did a post on it and can be found here: https://mustangforums.com/forum/clas...installed.html
