Well, I'm about an hour away from Birmingham right now and stopped for the night. The car ran great except for when the water pump took a poop on me north of Atlanta. I got the new one on and was back on the road. I stopped at a gas station and when I came back out to the car, I noticed that the gas gauge was off. I looked at the tank and noticed that it must have vapor locked and it sucked the bottom of my new gas tank in.

Was at the 45th today - great weather, great folks and great mustangs from all over the US.

Heard many foreign languages (German, Portuguese, Spanish, Aussie-deep-in-the-bush speak... just kidding on the last one - both New Zealand and Australians were present).

If my pics turn out I will post some.

The racers and riders I spoke with all loved the Barber Motorsports track. All I spoke with stated it was one of the best in the US.

Good weather predicted for most of Saturday but Sunday looks like rain.

$15 per day advance online and $20 at the gate for spectators. Vendor food is good but rather expensive.

It was pretty cool - try to get one if you have never been.

I didn't get to go. Had a little disagreement before we left and it ended the trip.
