My 347 is hosed
#42
I have all the stuff to put the 347 back together. If I go 351, I'll probably get a Dart block down the road. I have a Windsor engine now but decided to stick with the 347 so I can get her back on the road sooner.

I have a 94 block all stripped down and ready for the machine shop. I paid $150 for the long block. I went back today for a Windsor Ford Racing fuel injection manifold. I traded him a back seat for a 65 for that. While I was there he gave me a 351 Windsor roller motor for free. I won't be able to use the manifold but It'll be good trading material. The manifold is a NASCAR big port that I'd have to use Yates heads with.

This guy I got these engines from buys these trucks at auctions for $100-$300 depending on condition. He jerks the whole drivelines out and sets them aside. The older trucks up here are usually rusty and beat up so it's easy to score these deals. He had three Windsor roller motors sitting within 10' of each other.
