Default Sig Sauer P229 in my Mustang

I bought it from a friend today and I have to say, compared to my Glock 23, it is a piece of art! I need a good CCW holster for riding in my Mustang. Any thoughts? I have a Smartcarry, Blackhawk Serpa w/paddle, and a shoulder holster. Any better ideas?

shoulder holster is probably the best for driving

i want to buy a Serpa Black hawk and mount it under the dash, just take the paddle off :P its active retention, so i wouldnt have to worry about it moving around

i never use any holster unless it OWB

this place is supposed to be top notch http://southernholsters.com/

Sweet piece. I love sigs new P238! In fact Im thinking about picking up one for a back up piece. My PPK/S is nice but the P238 is just sexy...

I never had issues with my stock mustang seats and the inside holster. But my cobalt seats kinda suck with it.

Id make a special piece to attach to the bottom of the seat.

Just to be very clear, I have no intention of carrying a loaded weapon in my Mustang. That is against the law in CT. I had to mention Mustang in the title as I hate the OT section of this site, but value your opinions. I'm really looking for the best CCW holster for a Sig P229.

I guess nobody else saw the "Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly" thread.

I saw it when I was in my Mustang.

you should file a federal civil rights lawsuit because the gun need to be ready for use as per DC v Heller. but of course they will claim that the 2nd doesnt apply to the states. California 9th federal incorporated the 2nd, i was suprised to see that out of cali. Alan Gura the lawyer from the DC v Heller case recently applied for Cert. for the supreme court to decided the incorporation issue.

I have a Serpa Blackhawk! for my Springfield 1911. LOVE it. I DO prefer shoulder holster for driving though, though the gun typically sits on my lap when I'm driving anyway.
