Default Selling Questions

Well once im done with my 66 mustang project my plan is to sell it at a classic car auction to get the most money for it but i was goin to have it paitnes a blue with two gt stripes down the middle would that be looked down apon and not get best value.

That all depends on what the buyers are into at whatever auction you take it to. I was thinking that if I sell mine when I am done that i will take it to a few car shows and put a for sale sign with it and a jar for a silent bid where they could drop in a price and a phone number.

gotcha cuz thats just a paint scheme that i love and was gonna have done but yea ill just have to look for the right buyer.

i assume this is a coupe?? if so dont expect big money out of it imho

I personally think a restored coupe with out any stripes except for maybe the GT side stripes will sell easier or better than one with the Shelby stripes.

Right now is a bad time to try to sell anything.I see cars they use to bring close to 10k going for 5k on craigslist.If you want to make any profit on it hold on to it.I wouldn't do the lemans stripes on anything but a fastback.

Gotcha sounds good im just trying to think of a good color to go with black interior like a deep blue or something cuz i mean black looks great but im not trying to make a rolling oven.
