Up until Ford started putting roller cams in 5.0s, 5.0s were simply "renamed" 302s..

So non roller "5.0" blocks are just plain old 302 blocks, and "roller 5.0" blocks are just slightly updated 302 blocks....

5.0L has a number of variants as well, roller cam blocks, one piece rear main seal blocks and two piece main seals. But the main difference I have found between them being called 5.0 and 302 is the 50 oz balance vs 28 oz.

Dont forget to have your vacuum checked if you have a vacuum leak it will displace atmosphere, we get enough atmosphere displacement from vacuum sources and we will displace our entire breathable bubble that surrounds the Earth. Yes our cars being poorly maintained could cause the entire Earth and its population to be stuck in a vacuum.

When the ADJUSTABLE POWERBAND is used with the proper vacuum pump, (like Austin Powers) it is my understanding that the results can be spectacular....

Did I get hosed, or was that a good price???

If you got hosed then it was a really good price. Blinker fluid hoses are generally pretty expensive. It is always cheaper to change them when you do the blinker fluid so it's always a good idea to tell the mechanic you want to get hosed when you take your car in.

I can not believe that there is not one person here who thinks that the supposed EXTRA .02" of cylinder length that 302 blocks have over 289 blocks makes a difference!

Here I am all stoked up for a good "discussion" and no takers... DAMN...

The extra .02 is bound to make a difference, I mean .02" is 1/2 MM, a little over 1/3 of a 16th of an inch...

A difference this big HAS to keep the pistons from rocking on those long stroke 302s....

hmm maybe I need to go post in that "test" thread....

Another way to see it is, .020 is about the thickness of 4 hairs....that's quite a bit for most people.

"The extra .02 is bound to make a difference".....everyone knows that an extra 2 cents is always appreciated.

Great price for Blinker fluid! But if your are talking about new antifreeze and tire air we have an issue
