Air compressor
I've got a 125# PSI 15 gal upright air compressor, is this sufficient enough to use a paint gun to paint an engine bay, do door jams, floor pans, and such?
I know it is not good enough to run large power items, but what about spray guns?

ummmm I can't be too sure but it can probably run the paint gun but only for a short amount of time. You would have to take breaks for the tank to recharge, for places like the floor pans this shouldn't be a problem but I can't see it being your best option for noticeable areas like the engine bay and door jams...

I don't have a paint gun yet, I'm just starting to look into it.

It will work FINE for these small projects.
You will have plenty of time to build pressure if you need to, especially if you use a slow reducer/basemaker/activator.
No problem so long as the compressor is at least 1 or 2 hp.
