Default My 1960 Mustang!

I picked up this little car for my daughter yesterday.

It is a very straight and all but rust free example of the "first gen" Mustang.....

Ok not really a Mustang.... but about it might be said that the 1960 Falcon is the MUSTANGS DADDY....

My daughter says she wants to work on the car, we will see... but regardless, this one is clean enough and functional enough to be a nice little driver with just paint and upholstery.

very cool, pretty sweet that your whole family seems to be interested in these classic cars. I like the falcon, looks like it doesn't need much work

Keep the 6 and do a 5 speed conversion. Should get some good gas mileage with that combo.

I can say for sure,,,,

The 6 is staying in this car,,, (I am pretty sure it is a 144)

5 speed with some lower gears in the back... Hmmm...

I like the sound of that....

I think it would be a freaking blast..

Cute lil falcon, like BA said a 5 speed would be great and a whole lot more economical.

Would be even better if you could find a column shift. Column shifts rock!

I just searched and it is a 144. Also said it was rated for 30mpg cruising on the highway.

Yep, that 144 is a real bad ***, it will do the 1/4 mile in 11.7 ...... not to bad for a little 6 in a 1960 car.....

Some folks say that really ain't so fast, but I say as long as a person has 11 minutes and 42 seconds to burn it's not so bad....
