I would suggest finding an original replacement. The repros are flimsy and weaker than the originals, at least the two I bought were. I ended up finding originals, not to mention they fit much better. All 67-68's will work for your coupe. Look on craigslist that's where I found mine. They are usually cheaper than buying an repro and paying for shipping.

Make sure when looking at a used one to look at the bottom seam of the door. That's where most of the rot will be. Plus most of the repop sheet metal comes from the same place like the carpets, everybody else is just a distributor. Unless you can find one that says Canadian made or thicker gauge then its the cheap flimsy, ill fitting one.

These are repro doors, nothing ill-fitting or flimsy about them:

I thought the same until I assembled them and the weight from the glass, etc. really showed their quality. Compared to the originals, they are flimsy. Be careful, like I did, I didn't notice it until I already painted the car, now I need to repaint the other doors. I could accept the repros as they are but it bothers me not to have a better quality door and the gap sucks, like I said the weight changed the fit, so I am changing mine out. Maybe you won't have the same problem, but I am sharing my experience so others can possibly avoid this crappy issue. Good luck!

I have rebuilt about 8 cars so far and most remade parts suck.Your door looks good but your gap is big for my liking and above the door handle needs to be massaged to fit.If your panels don't line up prefect when you paint light will catch and show it.I use a thin piece of alum over my panels to see where the low and high spots are.

How about Dynacorn. Has anyone delt with them? ....With the door that I have now the only problem is the passenger side door handle looks to have slightly dented the sheetmetal right above the handle from lifting to shut the door. Other than that there is not any noticable rust or body work. I'm probably being tooo picky. I think my door will be ok but It would be nice to find some sort of repoduction sheet metal that fits correctly. I know back in the 60s these cars along with most didn't have the best panel fit, even from the factory.
