Default So I did the Other rims...

and HOLY CRAP! They is SHINY!...

BEFORE!

AFTER!

YES!... They are the SAME RIM!..The Rear passenger rim...
And what did I use?... THESE!

I would also like to say... I tried to make my "Brushed" Rim shiny again... with the Steel Wool, using the course, fine then FINER... and It only gave it a more "Professional" Brushed look...

What about the rust?
Shinny rust is still rust.
Were you trying to remove the rust or just make the rims shinny again?
Also do you work for PURPLE POWER?
If you were going for the shinny but rusty look,Then mission accomplished,It did a great job!

You may have to sand them down and have them re-chromed.

lmao, NO! I don't work for Purple Power... I went to the Autoparts store and the guy told me I would need a lubercant type thingy and windex like stuff worked that was the cheapest so I grabbed it.

AND... The center of the rim im going to paint... and as for rechroming, nah... I'm going to buy new rims later, I just wanted to make them shiny again.
and I just wanted to show the crap I used and set it up all fancy like...

You should wax the freshly done surfaces, it will help prevent immediate surface rust from forming, and of course keep them shiny.

now that you used the steel wool you should use a good steel/chrome polish. I have this two stage one that works great.

Hopefully the difference between these and the "brushed" rim aren't that great, now paint the centers and you should be set!

Very fine steel wool with Naval Jelly, chrome polish, and wax. They will look even better.
