Question '66 289 engine build date tag questions

How is the date taken from the codes on this tag, it was bolted to the top of the intake on the 66 289 I recently purchased.

6-A is the year and month produced.

That means yours was made in January of 1966.

Yeah I just went by I6 decoding instructions, but I can say that:

289 is the displacement of the engine (duh)
66 is the model year of the engine
10 is the change level I think (also not sure what this means)
236-S is the engine code number which says what kind of fuel it uses and what model car it was made for.

Edit: I believe C means the Cleveland Assembly plant.

i have a 66 ford 289 and im looking to find out what thease numbers are on the build tag


289 c 66 12

6-f 250-t

im mostly looking to find out what the 250-t means and the 12 i hope some one can help
