Default Tri-Y headers on a 66 convertible

Does anyone have Tri-Y headers o a 66 convertible 289. I saw on mustangs unlimited that it only says under the ceramic coated Tri-y that it fits coupe and fastback. Is there a clearance problem with the middle support plate for the convertibles. Also if there is another brand that you guys have tried that works good let me know.

I tried 2 sets of Patriot Tri-Y's and had 2 different problems. One set was sent back to Patriot for them to investigate. I ended up going with the Hedman that dropped right in and look/run great. I think the Hedman elites were $50 more. The headers would not be different for coupes versus conv. the problem is usually the pre-fab exhaust systems.
