Default The first 1969 MACH1?

This guy is making the claim.
I think it's just a selling ploy.

It does look like a nice car though.

Awesome car!!
At least he's not making a definitive claim that it is the first CJ Mach, just a general question.
If I had the cash....

Would a Marti report tell him if it was, in fact, the FIRST 69 MachI? Also, how the hell does he get to put so many pictures on? Whenever I list anything on craigslist I'm always limited to 4 pictures.

I don't know if it's the first CJ Mach 1 but it sure is a nice looking car. I don't think it's a 47k nice looking car though unless it's at least a low number CJ Mach 1 and all original.

I could make my 69 pretty nice with 25-30k more into it.

if i had the dosh I'd buy it for that money no matter if first or now. a 428 with aftermarket heads sounds like a good idea. but how the hell are those lads keeping those crappy tyres. if it were my car they'd probably gone in a day

It's just how you write the HTML or XTML and post it in your ad,You can only UPLOAD 4 pictures to Craigslist on thier site.
What you write is not what is displayed,Just include pictures in HTML code in your ad and craigslist will automatically display it for you.
Most of the time people will just post a link to another off-site location like www.photobucket.com to add more pictures.

The VIN # he has listed on there is 00017 that should clue you in to the fact that it's not #1 Mustang for the year, but could be the first one with the Mach1 option. Marti Auto Works would know that.

Hard to say if it's actually the first Mach 1 built, but if it actually is production number 100017 like it says then it's possible. I can't pull anything from his overexposed picture of the door plate to confirm it though. Still, nice car any way you slice it.

I dont know, gas is $2.50-$3 a gallon and it has a 428 in it, thats asking a lot for an old car with that big of an engine. You can get a Prius cheaper and it uses less gas.
