I need to replace the clutch in my 68 Coupe. When I'm going into all the catalogs and web sites to find out what I'll need, I see that some cars need a 10" clutch and others seem to need a 10 - 1/2" clutch disk.
I have a 289 with the original 3 speed manual transmission in the vehicle. Does anyone have any ideas how I can find out what clutch I will need to purchase PRIOR to me taking it all apart?
I also realize that this might be a great time to upgrade; however, since I don't normally take the car on the freeways, I don't mind keeping the 3 speed trans in the vehicle (instead of upgrading to a T5).
Thanks,
Mike V.
