Default 65 200CID redline?

Hey Everybody. Just wondering if anybody knew what the redline for a 65 200cid was supposed to be? I have one bolted to a C4, and even when I get on it I hardly see anything above 3k...seems kind of low when you compare to the v8's of the same year.

Any thoughts?

Well, I would think if you still have the totally lame stock exhaust manifold, it'll be pointless to go past 4000, and you'll be losing power before that. With a dual header and 3-4 splitter, add maybe 500. The 200 got a 6000 Rally Pac, when ordered. The I6 and V8 were totally different engines, in many ways. You really wouldn't expect a high-revving cam in a 6, right? Now, if you changed the cam, and went with a bigger carb and dual exhaust, 5500 would not be unreasonable at all.
