The orig paint is horrible as far as colors go. Worse than Phoenician Yellow or Ivy Green in my book, which I thought were a tie for 2 worst Mustang colors.
I have to agree with Carlos on this one. The red is better to me. No matter how rare that color is/was I'd have to change the color as well. First picture I think I've seen of your car from the side. I like the wheel choice Wild.
Thats cool to see one like that, but I agree that the color is not great at all. My friend had the same car as that but it was a Grande with the partial vinyl top. He did not put the vinyl back on. It was that color. He painted it a meduim green metallic color that looks sweet. It had ginger interior. It looks slick.

The red is so much better. Good work.

Whoa, Hey...
It's okay, at least you admit that it's "in my book."
I like the yellow, and if Ivy Green was good enough for Steve McQueen it's good enough for me.
It's 2004 FORD COMPETITION ORANGE!! lol
It doesn't take a very good picture,I guess.
In person you can tell it's VERY ORANGE!
Kinda makes a person wonder why my car had those options, but they left out the power dics brakes...
Options were: Racing style mirrors / vinyl roof / rocker panel molding / A/C / 302 v-8 / C-4 automatic,But no disc brakes,lol
Oh well.
It's my understanding that both colors are paint code "R," for dark green. Ivy for '65-'66, Highland for '68. There is a difference but it's slight, only a shade or two.
In '67 the dark green was paint code "Y," and was called Dark Moss Green.
Go figure.
