We did ours in Candyapple red and it looks great! If you want something subtly different, why not choose Candyapple Red with metalflake in it? We thought about doing it with our car, but my wife wanted to go with the original color.

Love that silver and I'm having a hard time on the reds as well BA. I've started thinking of just painting it black...
