I'm 6'4" and 225. I put aftermarket seats in my 66 and had to lower the seat bases to be comfortable without a lot of recline in the seat.

FWIW, brother is 6'-6", all legs and fits in his '66 vert with original seat position. His is an auto so it may be a different story with a manual transmission.

Maybe I'm sitting wrong in mine. With the seat all the way back and me sitting up my legs keep hitting the steering wheel.

Oh really.. Marquette.. didnt you come on here a while back and I offered to show you how to do work on old cars, and maybe help find one? Im easy to find, drive down M28 towards Munising until you see the yard on the right that is filled with boats and muscle cars. Stop in anytime.

6'4 180 and I fit fairly comfortably in my 70. Would be a bit better with a tilt column.
