extemely random, but important....
Hey guys, haven't been on here in a few months. Anyway I want a '64-'66 Mustang, just as I always have...then it occured to me. I'm a pretty tall guy. I come in @ 6'2" and I'm begining to wonder If I will even fit in a 60's stang because I have never sat in one before. What do you guys think?

6'2" and no problems in my '67. The only problem I had in my ex's '66 4 speed car was that I always banged my knee really flucking HARD on the window handle when I would speed shift it. Damn, that hurt.

but anyhow im 6'4 or 6'5 and weigh 250 and fit just fine.
the only issue i have is since its a solid steering column & not tilt + the bigger original steering wheel, i have to sit in the seat and then turn to slide my right leg under the wheel.
i cant just kind of jump in like i can on a modern car but oh well.
i can also slide the seat up from there so someone can halfway sit behind me and fit pretty good still
edit:
i should add that even though im 250 everyone thinks i look 220ish due to my height. my waist is ~36

If you just want just to fit, yes you will fit. If you want to be comfortable, then you need to alter the seat base and/or tracs. I have moved the last 3 cars that I have built by 6 inches, now I can be comfortable and not locked up in a fetal position. At least you can cheat a couple of inches and it will not be noticed too much vs a stock location, and those two inches do make a difference.
