Explain the price difference to me
A kit for one upper control arm is 140 bucks:

The complete arm is 75 bucks:

What's the deal?
Also, what's the difference between these two roller perch sets? Does one use 2 cartridge bearings per perch and the other use 4 per perch? Worth the extra money?

In my opinion, I would rather buy the complete upper A arm with the liftetime warranty that is already assembled. Its half the price anyway, and made by the same company. I got some very similar to that when I did mine.
It says that the more expensive set of roller perches uses 2 sets of bearings, so I guess it has twice as many. I don't know how much better it actually functions though.
I have NOS stock perches on mine. If I ever need to work on them again, I will go with roller ones.

That price for the complete upper A arm for 75 bucks is not bad. This is the one I have. It even has the correct two tone color. Its 75 bucks as well.

Moog makes good parts too, but they don't list a complete upper A arm. They list an A arm kit.

You want the street roller perches with two roller bearings. The track roller perches have the shock mounting plate rotating on two separate roller perches for increased suspension response. The effect is only really noticable on the track and is overkill for the street. This is what John (who owns/runs OpenTracker) himself has said on another forum.
I'd recommend contacting ORP directly for the perches. ORP also offers a forum member discount.

Starfury is right. Roller perches are really a race application. Nothing wrong with putting them on a street car if you don't mind the extra expense, but I doubt the performance is noticeable at low speeds.
I just replaced my entire front end for the second time. The first time I replaced the worn orig equip piece by piece over a 3 year period. Then over the last 16 years it wore out in pieces, which is not only bad for handling, but a pain in the *** when it's only the upper tie rod ends, etc.
This time I got a kit from Must Unlimited and replaced everything together. The whole car feels tighter and more responsive, and will wear more evenly. I can't say enough about doing it all toghether, even if some parts are only half worn. My kit cost something like $250 complete including sway bar bushings. It took 4 hours. The nice thing was the new L-shape grease fittings on the upper A arms. You can reach it easily now with a grease gun. Mustang A arm squeeks are now history.
