Default Cracks in engine head *pics*

Long story short: Car started running like crap a few weeks ago. Finally died on me on the way to work. Got towed home, took engine apart:

Yea, I supposed exhaust gas getting into the intake manifold would cause it to run like crap..

Maybe it was running a little lean?
