The guy sounds like an idiot. Like someone mentioned before, next time bring the cash.
You know what they say "Cash is King"! At least I say that. It just wasn't meant to be.
Keep tabs on it and see what happens.

I didnt get any happy endings in Korea... However, I did in Germany...

Maybe its just one of those strange Pontiac types. They are a weird bunch.

Have someone else call and see if the car is still for sale and the asking price. I bet it is still available, but price has gone up. I still think he was having seller's remorse and he realized that he could get more $ for the car.

I'm polish and jewish, I've heard it all but I have thick skin.

I say have a friend call him and see if it's for sale but for a higher price.

I vote see if its still for sale and if so find a friend with a trailer and have him go buy it and bring it to you, it gets brought home on a flat bed so the guy doesn't have time to change his mind and you get the car

that said if he doesn't want you to drive it it probably has something wrong suspension wise, shock or bushing would be my guess

Yeah my neighbor was selling a truck becuase he was terminally ill.. pretty nice but his price was a bit high. It needed a alternator. I told him not to bother. He had one put on anyway. the pulley was screaming on the "rebuilt" alternator. I agreed to his high price but it was a Nice well taken care of truck. I simply ask hey the alternator didnt turn out well.... discount it for the price of an alternator and we have a deal. HE WAS PISSED!!! I simply offered the OPTION ...give me the receipt and I'll take care of the alternator. He told me he wouldnt sell me the truck "you know too much about cars so I don't trust you"

LOL HUH you dont trust ME??? because I know what I'm doing?? OMG... LOL!!! the old mean jerk died 3 months later.
